St.Mamas village

Heading to the southern slopes of the Troodos mountain range,
on the eastern foot of Zalaka mountain, we reach a small village built in an amphitheatric layout.

Named after a Christian martyr ,is famous for its Commandaria wine from which has undoubtedly won its privilege to be included among the "14 traditional Commandaria production villages".
During your visit, you can take the opportunity to learn about the process of producing and taste the wine with the unique aroma which became the symbol of Cyprus.

Doros village

The name Doros, associated with the Greek ancient wood Doris(forest), surrounded by almond treed, grapevines and fruit orchards is a traditional village with exceptional scenery.

Visitors enjoy walking in the narrow little streets, admiring the restored old stone built houses ,and the hospitality of people offering a sense of community.

Katerina sweets

This local workshop is located in an eye catching area with panoramic views of the Cypriot nature. It hosts a small traditionally-style coffee shop, where a drink can be enjoyed with an accompanied "glyko", whilst watching the glyka (spoon sweets) being made behind the glass panels of the factory.

Laneia village

Time for a walk around the narrow streets of this small traditional village, of the 14 designated villages that lie in the Commandaria region.            Due to its hilly south facing slopes and its white chalky soil, it offers idea conditions for growing grapes for producing top quality wines.

Monagri village

Set against the backdrop of the Troodos mountains, this beautiful village is the perfect setting to sample village life.

The name of the village means 'small valley', since the village was formed in a  small valley belonging to the monastery since Byzantine times...

During the Frankish rule, the village belonged to the family of the nobleman...

Menegros winery

Lovingly created to compliment the surrounding area, the multi-awarded winery will introduce us to the principles of the iconic wine commandaria.
